Senior Center Programs

The Council on Aging owns and operates two Senior Centers: the Eastern Chatham Senior Center in Pittsboro and the Western Chatham Senior Center in Siler City.  The Centers offer daily wellness programs, social and recreational activities, health education and noontime meals.

The Center in Siler City is home to the Food Services division. We prepare and serve approximately 200 meals daily for the clients we serve in the Centers as well as our home delivered meal clients.

Other Home Based Services offered by the Chatham County Council on Aging

The Centers are also available for community events and catered meetings and conferences. Proceeds from renting the facilities and providing catering services are used to fund the congregate and home delivered meal programs and the capital and operating expenses of the buildings.
