Chatham County Senior Games 2010

The Chatham County Senior Games will be held April 28 through May 5 this year.

Registration is open to all adults 55 years of age or better. All registration forms are due by Wednesday, March 31, 2010.

Competing events include golf, bowling, tennis, bocce, horseshoes, swimming, track & field, softball and football throw, basketball shooting, visual, literary, performing arts and heritage arts.

Event sites will be throughout Chatham County. Please pick-up an application at the Eastern Chatham Senior Center, Western Chatham Senior Center or at the DCFL at Fearrington.

Not 55 or better yet? Come on out to cheer and rally our seniors.

Opening Ceremonies will be Wednesday, April 28 at 2 pm at the Eastern Chatham Senior Center with a fun walk following around 2:45 pm. Come join the fun and festivities!

Chatham County Senior Games will be presented by the Council on Aging, Parks & Recreation Department, Duke Center for Living at Fearrington.

Senior Games sponsors are Chatham County Council on Aging, The Laurels of Chatham, NC Division of Aging and Adult Services, Chatham County Parks and Recreation, and various businesses around Chatham County.
