Do you care for a loved one? Maybe you help them with errands or tasks-manage their medication-or provide emotional support.

Powerful Tools for Caregivers is a 6 week workshop that will help you develop a wealth of tools to:

-Reduce Personal Stress

-Effectively communicate with your loved one, family members, or health care providers

-Handle challenging situations

Arthritis Foundation Exercise Program

Are you interested in taking control of your arthritis with exercise? The Council on Aging seeks residents interested in the Arthritis Foundation Exercise Program, an eight-week program to help control arthritis symptoms. The program will be held at the Eastern Chatham Senior Center at 365 NC Hwy 87 N, Pittsboro. It begins, Monday, September 15, 3-4 pm and will continue on Mondays and Wednesdays for eight weeks.

Matter of Balance Program

The Chatham County Council on Aging has scheduled an eight-week program, A Matter of Balance, to help seniors address concerns about falling.

The program will be held on Tuesdays starting June 10 from 2-4 pm. The classes are free to the public and will be held at the Eastern Chatham Senior Center located at 365 NC Hwy 87 N in Pittsboro. For more information or to register contact Lindsay Hickling or Allison Andrews at 919-542-4512.
