Chatham Council on Aging Breast Cancer Outreach

The purpose of this program is to provide educational & resource information about breast cancer and to raise funds to provide care packages for the newly diagnosed daughters and granddaughters of Chatham's senior adults. The care packages are available at the Pittsboro and Siler City Senior Centers. If you have a loved one dealing with breast cancer, contact Kay Maddox for further information at 919-742-3975.

You can contribute to this program by knitting/crocheting prayer shawls, hats, lap blankets to provide comfort to the newly diagnosed woman. For more details about this program, please view our flyer.
